Our asphalt storage tanks are designed to store and heat liquid asphalt and modified asphalt at hot mix asphalt plants. Storage capacities from 10,000 gallons to 40,000 gallons are available. An extensive number of options and configurations are available to meet your specific needs.
Vertical asphalt tanks come in storage capacities from 10,000 to 35,000 gallons. Heating is provided by heating coils in the bottom of the tank. Heat transfer fluid, circulated by a hot oil heater, flows through the coils and transfers heat to the liquid asphalt stored inside. Electric heating is also available. Numerous options include mixers for polymer-modified asphalt and vent condensers for stringent emissions control.
Portable asphalt tanks come in storage capacities from 10,000 to 35,000 gallons. Heating is provided by heating coils for heat transfer oil in the bottom of the tank. Direct-fired heating from a burner and fire tube is also available. Electric heating is available. The tanks are mounted on an integrated portable chassis. Numerous options include integral hot oil heaters, chassis extensions for calibration tanks and asphalt metering systems, multiple-compartment tanks, and more.
Horizontal asphalt tanks for stationary installation come in storage capacities from 10,000 to 40,000 gallons. Heating is provided by heating coils for heat transfer oil in the bottom of the tank. Direct-fired heating from a burner and fire tube is also available. Electric heating is available. Numerous options include catwalks and handrails across the top of the tanks, multiple storage compartments, and vent condensers for stringent emissions control.
Electrically heated storage tanks can be used for a variety of liquid materials. The rugged construction design and insulation system provides an energy efficient installation requiring minimal operator attention. Available in capacities from 10,000 to 30,000 gallons.
